A New 21st and Lots of Driving

So this Saturday was a very interesting day. It was Olivers 21st birthday party and I had a super good time there, even though it was with my high school friends that I don't usually have that great of a time with. So the day started out pretty simple, went and picked up Oliver and Christine and drove to the International Supermarket to go buy some oysters. I always hate going to that store because of the smell and because of the people that frequent that store. Well we got Olivers huge box of oysters and then we went to Ronnies house to go kidnap him. This turned into a bit of an awkward situation because his mom opened up the door and she was kinda pushing Ronnie outside, whereas Ronnie did not want to go haha. But yeah he eventually came with us and we arrived at Olivers house safe and sound thanks to my awesome driving.

Well that night didn't turn interesting until more people started to show up and the alcohol started flowing. I took about 5 shots that night which was the most ive ever drank in my life. It was pretty cool though because I finally kinda felt the effects of the alcohol. For some reason, I was able to keep control on myself perfectly but I was just super hyper. Like the true Sean came out that night because of the alcohol. I think I made Ronnie and Yoshiko believe that I was on X but yeah I really wasn't. Though for the very first time in my entire life, I smoked. Yes I finally accomplished my new years resolution to start smoking and then stop. It was weird though, because usually when people smoke for the first time, they cough a little and probably choke it all back out, but for me I was able to take it in and not cough at all. It went down smoothly and came back up much like it did going down. The taste was really nice also, and though I have all these nice things to say about smoking, I don't think I'll ever do it again because I would much rather live than die.

Well that night was really fun because I actually felt like part of the crowd and that I wasn't just some loner in the corner. I met alot of new people that night and remade some connections with people that might have been lost before. It was also good talking to Ronnie on that drive home, because its nice having someone you can just open up to about stuffs.

Well the next day was pretty intense also. I woke up with a slight hangover from the night before, and I guess it kinda shower with exactly how I woke up that day. I woke up lying flat on my back, and one of my arms was wrapped in front of me. When I woke up in a bit of a daze, I saw my own arm and I was like "OMG WHOSE ARM IS THAT AHHHHHH!!!" Its never a good thing to be scared of your own arm first thing in the morning.

Well after that whole experience of fear first thing in the morning, I got ready to go and drive back to Hayward for the first part of my driving extravaganza Sunday. I got to Hayward at around 3pm and I stayed in my dorm till 4. After that I walked out to D-Lot and met up with the rest of the group and we sort of started the drive to Sacramento. I knew that I wouldn't last the drive there though without some refreshments so I stopped by at Jamba Juice. Reminder than I needa take ALOT of people out to dinner sometime. Especially that one girl named Annie haha. Shes been paying for alot of stuff for AphiO lately so I just feel I need to do something nice for in because shes been so nice to us.

Well when we got to Sac State we were pretty amazed by how their Union looked. It reminded me alot of SJSU's Union because it was like, the same color and the same design. One of the more random moments of the trip came when we went upstairs in search for their meeting and I saw my friend BJ there that goes to Sac State. We talked for a bit and then we proceeded onto their meeting. Ok as a truly honest opinion, Sac States meetings are pretty cool but they do so much more than we do. They're all really super official about how their meetings are run and they actually do stuff like having votes and making motions and discussions. We don't do that at all because we're more just like, "Fuck it lets just do it".

Well Nancy wanted me to announce to Sac State that our chapter is having a game day and that all the IC's were invited. But me being me, my randomness and hyperness made Nancy a little worried that I'd embarass the whole chapter in from of Kappa Sig. And I was already kinda getting excited and laughing a bit and doing my dances so nancy whispered to me "Sean you're humiliating us!". And my response to this was to loudly blurt out "IM NOT HUMILIATING YOU GUYS". Oh good job Sean. The rest of the meeting was pretty cool though because me and Regina basically just spent the whole time drawing on the pieces of paper that we had. Reginas muffin top man is probably one of the cooler drawings ive seen.

Well after Sac State we had to drive to UC Davis for one of their meetings. We got there like, super late but we were just in time for meeting alot of the Davis people. It actually did kind of change my opinion about the Davis chapter of APO. I had been disgruntled with them because of their previous Scavenger Hunt and how disorganized it was, but now after meeting them and socializing with them a bit, I see that theyre actually pretty cool to hang out with. After their meeting we went out with them to Sonics afterwards, whcih is always a pretty nifty place to go because of their awesome drinks.

After all the meetings were over, I had to endure the long hour and a half drive back to Hayward, but to be honest it went by pretty fast because me and Regina talked the whole time. So yeah till next time.

haha... Nancy shouldn't have said that to you anyway- fuck it.

Oh and, yeah- we're the only chapter that doesn't follow Robert's rules of order. Just because they use different terms in dialogue doesn't mean it's more "official" =P. We still make things happen- right?

btw- was it cigarettes that you smoked? O:
